MAD Architects Honeycomb Skyscraper – Sinosteel International Plaza

Be it their biomimetic form, their integral strength, or the their beautiful visual texture, lately we can’t get enough of hexagonal honeycomb structures. Beijing National Stadium

The Beijing National Stadium, popularly known as the "Bird's Nest"because of its design, is a stadium under construction on the Olympic Green in Beijing, China that is scheduled for completion in March, 2008. The stadium will host the main track and field competitions for the 2008 Summer Olympics, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.
