Michael Hopkins

Sir Michael Hopkins, CBE, RA, AADipl (born May 5, 1935, in Poole, Dorset) is an English architect. He studied at the Architectural Association and after working for Frederick Gibberd and a spell in partnership with Norman Foster he set up his own practice (now know as Hopkins Architects) with his wife, Patricia. Together they received the Royal Institute of British Architects Royal Gold Medal. Hopkins was elected to the Royal Academy in 1992 and awarded the CBE and knighted for services to architecture. Norman Foster

Norman Robert Foster, Baron Foster of Thames Bank, OM, FRIBA, FCSD, RDI, (born 1 June 1935) is a English architect whose company maintains an international design practice. He is Britain's most prolific builder of landmark office buildings. Foster was born in the Reddish area of Stockport, UK, to a working-class family. Nicholas Grimshaw
